We saw future shop owners, award winning artists and Olympic balancers all together in one room!
Things our children got up to:
The shopping and home corner: Always popular with the children who are learning to interact with each other as they ‘sell and buy’ the goodies. Play dough and craft table: Watching little minds learn to create using their hands and learn about different textured items like paper and craft glue. Tunnel and obstacle course: the kids made their own toy brick path to test their balance skills after they made it through the tunnel.
Our playgroup room at Harris Street offers the perfect venue for children to learn, play, develop their skills and personalities in a Culturally safe environment.
During mat time, we do our acknowledgement to country and often have a story or song. Plus, we’re always fully carted for both kids and parents.
Playgroup runs every Friday down at Harris Street Reserve.
