Warrnambool Walk Against Gender-based violence
The Orange Door, in partnership with local organisations working to end gender-based violence, invite you to join us for the Warrnambool Walk Against Gender-based violence.
During this 16 Days of Activism, unite with our community in Warrnambool as we come together to take a stand against gender-based violence.
Gather at James Swan Reserve before walking through central Warrnambool, ending at the Lighthouse Theatre for our guest speaker and panel discussion.
We’re thrilled to welcome Sherele Moody, award-winning social justice journalist, femicide and child death researcher, podcaster and founder of Australian Femicide Watch and The RED HEART Movement, as our guest speaker.
Sherele will be followed by a panel discussion featuring local family and sexual violence advocates.
James Swan Reserve → Lighthouse Theatre
Gather from 11.45am for a 12:00pm start
Guest speaker + panel from 1.10pm
Event concludes 2.15pm
While this is a free event, places for the guest speaker and panel event are limited, so registration is essential.
