As part of @Nutrition Australia’s Healthy Lunch Box week, we’re giving families the tips and tricks on packing a Healthy Deadly Lunch Box.

Packing school lunches can be stressful! Between busy schedules and rising food prices, we are trying to do our best when it comes to packing healthy and easy lunches. The Healthy Deadly Lunch Box book aims to help tackle some of the things that can make packing lunches stressful!

Healthy Deadly Lunch Box Tips: • Get kids involved in packing their healthy deadly lunchbox • Make lunches the night before and keep them in the fridge to save time during busy mornings. • Lemon juice can stop cut fruit like apple and pear from going brown. • To avoid soggy sandwiches place tomato between other fillings. • Small containers for sandwiches and vegie sticks can be handy. • Foods in small packets are more expensive. Food like yoghurt, dried fruit and nuts can be bought in large packets and put into • small containers for lunch boxes.
