The First Peoples Home Ownership Program is now accepting applications to support Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people to buy their first home in Victoria.
Available Support
• Home Buyer Booster: $2,500 to help with legal and admin costs
• Stamp Duty Helper: Up to $10,000 matched for land transfer (stamp) duty
• Deposit Contribution: Every dollar you save is matched up to $20,000
• Extra $5,000 if you’re buying or building a new home
Applicants must:
Be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (Confirmation required)
Not currently own a home
Live in Victoria & intend to buy in Victoria
Have an individual/household income under $245,000/year
Have pre-approval from a financial provider
