Warnnambool’s 'The Orange Door' celebrated its one year since opening yesterday.
The Orange Door is a free service for adults, children and young people who are experiencing or have experienced family violence and families who need extra support with the care of children.
Gunditjmara are proud partners of The Orange Door and have a deadly team working tirelessly to ensure that local mob receive culturally appropriate services.
Joanne McGuiness is employed by Gunditjmara as the Aboriginal Practise Lead . Jo works so hard leading high quality, culturally safe and effective responses to Aboriginal people seeking support and safety through The Orange Door. Jo provides practice leadership and expert advice to The Orange Door workforce on culturally safe and inclusive specialist services.
