Aboriginal Family Decision Making Program

This service is aimed to meet and work with children, young people and families already in contact, or at risk of contact with the Child protection system and to deliver collaborative working relationships with community agencies and Child Protection to maximize service delivery to clients of Child Protection and their families and to promote the practice of Reconciliation.

The Program is also aimed at implementing and co-convening a culturally responsive model of family decision making with Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander children, young people and families who are referred by the regional Child Protection Service and engage families in the Aboriginal Decision Making Program.
