Chronic Health Program

Gunditjmara Aboriginal Cooperative and South West Healthcare work collaboratively through culturally appropriate health promotion and treatment to address the high level of chronic disease in the Aboriginal community and to identify, assess, treat, refer, when necessary, and support members of the Indigenous Community in areas of diabetes, eye and heart health related illnesses.

Exercise

14 October 11am-1.30pm every second Tuesday (Chronic Group) where we are, at the moment, doing the Life program helping the group to self manage the chronic Illness.  This is a six week course. Glenda and Aneeta are conducting this at the Gunditjmara Cooperative.

Women's Health Afternoons 1pm-3pm every second Monday of the Month, starting on 13 October, 10 November and December 8.

Tai Chi classes on Mondays with Ros from 11am-12pm at Cooperative

Water Aerobics, with Ros, on Thursday Mornings from 10.30am-11.30 at Aqua Zone.  Creche is available for parents.

Exercise Group Friday afternoons from 1.15pm-2.30pm at South West Health Care Allied Health Department
